Romania participates in the Francophonie Village in Paris running between October 2 – 6 in tandem with the 19th Summit of the International Organisation of La Francophonie, and intended as a forum where French-speaking countries from all over the world can present their cultures, initiatives and heritage to the general public. Romania’s program, designed under the motto “La Roumanie, j’en ai envie!”, showcases important music, performing arts and film events, including the George Enescu International Festival and Competition, the Sibiu International Theater Festival, and the National Theater Festival, a release by the Culture Ministry states, informs Agerpres.
